Welcome!The Mortario Cup is an annual match play competition contested between two rival teams of Ontario mortgage industry professionals. Each July, this two day competition is battled without the benefit of handicaps and by the strict rules of play as governed by the RCGA. The host Captain welcomes all players to a venue of his selection where he designs the event each year. Both the host and visiting team captains are burdened with the strategy of pairings as they vie to lead their team to the ultimate goal.
“Welcome to a golf event played among friends in the spirit of the Ryder Cup. Golf is a gentlemen’s game filled with etiquette and honor. Our event serves to prolong and preserve the traditions of a game handed down to us. May camaraderie and competition evoke new bonds of friendship”.
